Discover the tastes of Luxembourg thanks to a selection of Ramborn ciders.
The first to produce cider in Luxembourg, they offer products created only with the most traditional apple orchards, without excessive concentration of trees and industrial processes.
Ramborn Somerset Blend – 33CL
Brilliant and moderately dry cider, it is sparkling and rather lively with a large mousse that seems more suitable for a lager than for a cider, and does not completely dissipate.
The nose has an aroma of fresh, fruity and inviting apples. On the palate, however, light and fresh aromas of apple arrive, but with bitters, aridity and juicy nuances pleasantly balanced.
The tannins are present but subtle and adapt well to the overall balance.
Ramborn Original – 33CL
This is the most famous and classic ramborn cider: a dry, moderately sparkling cider, produced with the Rambo apple and mixed with other traditional varieties such as Boskoop, Bohnapfel, Porzenapfel, Luxemburger Triumpf and Luxemburger Renette. The final taste is the perfect blend of local apple orchards.
Ramborn Farmhouse – 33CL
It honors the way cider (or “viz”) has been produced for centuries in Luxembourg. This cider is very dry, slightly spicy, almost like wine, with an indelible and refreshing shade.
It is characterized by three varieties of local apples with a high content of tannin and natural acid, which makes them perfect for the production of cider: Erbachhofer, wooden apple and Wisenapel.
Ramborn Perry – 33 CL
Perry is made with pears from old traditional orchards, including Bongert Altenhoven in Bettenbourg.
It was created as part of Ramborn’s commitment to enhancing the orchards that extend throughout the Luxembourg region.
These traditional pear varieties – including Mostbirne and Nelchesbirne – have been carefully selected and pressed to create a perry rich in tannins and full of fruit flavor.
